Despite its inexpensive construction, I find that it performs exceptionally well. I clean it every day or two in a household with six cats, and even after a few weeks of use, my litter remains remarkably clean. I use regular clumping litter with it, and as someone with a disability, I wholeheartedly recommend it.

I used to despise scooping the litter box, but my husband's brother introduced me to this one, claiming that I would love it because I wouldn't have to scoop the litter box anymore. Small cat poops sometimes get caught on the filter grate and don't end up in the removable tray, but after a few cleanings, I just scoop out the small ones. I do wish there was a rubber seal around the removable tray to eliminate the gap where it meets the outside of the box.

The only problem I've encountered is that the two shells that make up this litter box sometimes form a small crack. When you tip it for its main feature, you might end up with a line of litter.

I love the size and color, but I didn't realize that I probably needed a mat as well. Now that I have one, it prevents the litter from being dragged onto the floor by the cat. However, some spillage can occur when rolling it. Nonetheless, it's still much better than scooping! The little trap doesn't always close completely, but it's not a major issue. It's a clever idea.
